To draw the line..

Many times in life, people draw lines in their work.
I draw lines to set boundaries.
There are times I feel reluctant to draw lines, cause it changes things.
Most of the time, something just tell you that you had to, to avoid feeling things you shouldn't.
Be it good or bad.
Drawing lines between friends, to avoid bitch-slapping moments
Drawing lines between opposite sexes to avoid misunderstandings
Drawing lines.... to avoid getting hurt.. in some ways, if not other.

Though there are a lot of times you just want to stop drawing those silly lines cause it's ridiculous. But really?

Is it?

At the end of the day, you just want to protect yourself.
Is that so wrong, then?

I would really love to draw a line today, no, I would love to join 4 lines to a square today. I would really love to box it in and just store it elsewhere.

But could I?

I can tell you I could today, but I won't be too sure about it tomorrow.

Cheers.

  1. I think drawing the line is important, not only to protect yourself but also it helps you to make a stand and make a decision for yourself. Certain things can't be compromised. :)
