Nottingham Malaysian Games-12 Nov 2011

Probably initiated by one or a group of dedicated person/people who is/are in love with sports.

Good thing.

Anyhoott.. From the idea of just going to Notts to meet a friend who's MIA most of the time and having people from this side to go together to only a few of us decided to get on with the plan with 30pds burnt for bus ride to and fro, we arrived in Nottingham at about 7am. 6 hours of bus ride, including 4 stops! The first two stops specially the for the guy who was feeling nauseated, and threw up.. nope, not motion sickness.. he drank a little too much booze. Lol. Ride was smooth, thanks to travel sickness tablets. :D

Was wandering around waiting to be called for netball game. A last minute thing! We took over another uni's spot as they couldn't make it. And lost miserably in the league. Out of 5 games, guess how many we won??!! :D BIG HUGE ASS ZERO 00000 for us. Then again, other teams probably train like least once a week seeing how good their scorers are. :D Till the third match, wanted to just pull-out so that..we won't be wasting time and get to walk around to explore Notts. But in the name of sportsmanship by a team member, we just stayed and played another two matches.  I was a clown in our last match I guess. Probably embarrassed myself too much that I hope I don't see them again. :D

So, left that field and went indoors to watch basketball matches instead. XD Not that ooo-waaa-ahhh fun.. but there are a few good matches. We took a strolled across the fields to get to another building for food in between. Pretty place with trees turning red/yellow and huge grass area like Glasgow Green.
Had Malaysian food for lunch, nasi ayam.. Almost forgotten how good a deep fried chicken taste like. NYummY! Thanks to Sierra/Cierra for the treat!

Took the shuttle bus back to the sports centre.. and watch more matches.

Spending a whole day there wasn't that tiring, time passes by quickly, probably well-trained in Glasgow already.
Should have taken some time off there to snap more more photos though. Paid so much to get there d~ but apparently train rides will cost 50++.. So I guess it's okay.. Least, I've been somewhere for the weekend. :)

Wei Jian, Shiao Ling 

Caught up with Shiao Ling (time for you to come here! XD), Wei Jian and Jeshua there also! What are the odds seeing the two guys there. Lol.

Another 5 hours plus ride, and we're back in Strathcylde at almost 1am. :D
