Home-made Korean BBQ

Or shall I say the improvised, easier version.
Since there's no charcoal involved, only the hot pot we usually use for steamboat.

It's so much cheaper! But of course there's no time spared to prepare the side dishes besides the ready-made-to-go-kimchi we bought.

Since my sister wasn't around so I took matters into hand. LOL.
Sound like some sifu!
Again, you have to thank technology and the power of Google. I seem to be googling for most of things, be it important or unnecessary. Yes, like, "why fingers burn when I cut garlic?" Cause the burning sensation really peaked during dinner! :D

"Raw garlic burns your mouth because of allicin. Allicin is produced when raw garlic is bruised or cut. Garlic cloves contain the acid alliin and the enzyme allinase. When the garlic is crushed, the alliin and allinase combine to produce allicin. Allicin is a powerful antibiotic and antimicrobicide. The allicin is part of raw garlic's defense against invasion and consumption. It 'zaps' fungi, insects, and bacteria that try to consume it"

Yeah, I read about squeezing some lime/lemon juice will alleviate the pain. If not, take a shot with vinegar.

Anyways, zap zap.. I got the recipe for Kimchi soup (success-can fight restaurant d! LOL) and also Green Onion Pancake (epic fail: too thick, not crispy at all)
Best thing about purchasing goods from the Korean mart, you don't have to go through the process of slicing the meat thin! Nyums.

Ala-Korean BBQ. Dinner for 4. Too much though, cannot clear the table up.
Considered it an easy dinner done, without any fuss or bicker from both parents at the night market itself! LoL. It happens almost everywhere they go, seriously!

And the nice longan juice for dessert. Nyums to perfection for the dinner closure.

Okay, that's my dinner on Saturday. What did you have? :)

I'm like supposed to be taking 10 minutes off from reading MEP on CONTROLLED DRUG. Seem to be like too long of a break time throughout the weekend! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT!

I know lazy bug.

Love. Hello Week 5. So fast time flies. My last semester in IMU already!!!!

Damn, I want a WHITE CHRISTMAS tooooooooooooo!! Envy envy!

It's nothing but the raindrops that I hear outside my window..
I wanna see snow also! *wails*

Love.
